History of chronicpaincanada.org

From about 2000 to 2004, chronicpaincanada.org was the website of NACPAC, the North American Chronic Pain Association of Canada, a patient association based in Ontario.

NACPAC's site published general information about chronic pain, a directory of Canadian pain clinics and specialists, links to US pain clinic directories, links about conditions and treatments, patient stories, a newsletter called The Track, interviews with pain physicians, and press articles about access to opioid medicines. Its pages were cited by Radio-Canada (Dimanche Magazine, 2000) and by the University of Michigan MLA citation guide.

The site today

The current chronicpaincanada.org is a new, independent reference. It is not run by, and is not affiliated with, NACPAC or any successor organisation. We do not reproduce NACPAC's content or patient stories.

If you followed an old link, older pages now point to the closest current section. The old clinic directory pages point to our guide on finding a pain clinic in Canada, which explains referral routes but does not list clinics.
